Registration & Regulations:
Open for kids under 16 (born 2007 and after). FIDE ID is not mandatory
Time control: 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment from move 1.
Swiss System, 9 rounds.
FIDE Rules are applied for blitz chess.
The deadline for registration is Thursday 12th of October at 10:00 PM.
Entry fee: 50 AED.
Prizes:
1st Place: 1,200 AED
2nd Place: 700 AED
3rd Place: 500 AED
4th Place: 300 AED
5th Place: 250 AED
Best Girl: 300 AED
Tiebreak:
- Direct encounter.
- Bucholtz Cut 1.
- Bucholtz Cut 2.
- Sonneborn-berger
Schedule:
First Round will start on Saturday, 14th of October at 10:00 am. The tournament will take around 4 hours.
